FFCR Stockholm 2026 breaks all records

During the week, a total of 7,092 enthusiastic visitors gathered at Kistamässan to experience FFCR Stockholm 2026 – Sweden’s largest restaurant trade fair. The visitor figure represents a new record and a clear increase compared to the previous year, when the fair attracted 6,613 visitors.

Strong interest was also reflected among exhibitors. As many as 83% of this year’s exhibitors chose to rebook their space for FFCR Stockholm 2027, a strong confirmation of the fair’s relevance and business value. During the ongoing event, both returning and new exhibitors also secured their participation for the upcoming edition, meaning that a full 96% of the exhibition floor is already booked.

“This is clear evidence that FFCR is a natural meeting place for the restaurant industry. The engagement from visitors, exhibitors, and speakers has been absolutely fantastic,” says Therése Gyllenhammar, project manager for the fair.

The live kitchen attracted huge crowd

This year’s live stage and kitchen area quickly became a visitor favourite. Large crowds gathered to watch and listen to some of the industry’s most well-known profiles. The area filled to capacity when Linnea Jarnrot, winner of Sveriges Mästerkock, Nils Molinder, and Tea Malmegård took to the stage for talks and live cooking.

This year featured an expanded stage programme with more thematic sessions than before, focusing on inspiration, trends, and deeper industry insights. Tehuset Java highlighted matcha as an ongoing strong trend, Vingruppen explored developments in the wine world, and Svenska Viltmatakademin discussed game cooking, wine lists, and sustainable gastronomy. During their session, the awards Årets Viltkrog and Årets Viltkommun were also presented.

The stage programme concluded with an atmospheric award ceremony where this year’s innovations were recognised, with first prizes awarded across five different categories.

Wine Cellar – a popular new addition

One of this year’s major new features was the fair’s dedicated wine area, Wine Cellar. Here, Vingruppen presented over 100 different wines that visitors had the opportunity to taste. The area attracted a large number of visitors throughout the event and quickly became one of the most appreciated parts of FFCR Stockholm 2026.

Next up: FFCR Gothenburg at Svenska Mässan

Following a record-breaking visitor turnout and exceptionally strong exhibitor interest, planning is already well underway for FFCR Gothenburg, taking place on September 15–16. For the first time in nine years, the fair will return to Svenska Mässan, after having outgrown Serneke Arena.

The move marks an important step for both FFCR and the restaurant industry as a whole. With an event venue that matches the industry’s ambitions and growth, the conditions are set for larger spaces, more opportunities, and a more central meeting place for both exhibitors and visitors.
